Summary

Bill Brown discusses his experiences as a mechanic for racecar drivers Billy and Bobby Myers during the 1950s. He recalls his relationship with the racing brothers and reflects upon his experiences with other racecar drivers such as Fireball Roberts, the Pettys, and Earnhardt families. The interview also includes a discussion of photographs from Mr. Brown's career. Mr. Brown explains the evolution in modifying racecars to make NASCAR competition more efficient, safe, and enjoyable.
