Biographical Note

Robin Brabham was a 65-year-old man at the time of his interview, which took place in the J. Murrey Atkins Library at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He was born in Sumter, South Carolina in 1946. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and History at Furman University in 1968, a Masters in Librarianship at Emory University in 1969, and a Masters in History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1977. He was employed as a librarian and archivist at UNC Charlotte, where he founded the J. Murrey Atkins Library’s Special Collections and University Archives.
