Biographical / Historical
The UNC Charlotte men's basketball team was selected to participate in the 1976 NIT tournament. In coach Lee Rose's first season, the team made it all the way to the championship game led by Cedric Maxwell and Melvin Watkins. They lost to Kentucky in the Final 67-71.
